Dq Coupons: Save On An Old Fashioned Dairy Treat
Grab Some Money-Saving DQ Coupons
DQ is one of those beloved fast food restaurant chains that is evocative of classic American imagery and stirs up lots of fond childhood memories. I remember back in my childhood days, my friends and I used to ask our parents for a few quarters and then ride our bicycles down to the local Dairy Queen for a chocolate dip cone or a malt. These were the days before the introduction of the world famous Blizzard Treat in 1985. Our local branch was part of the Dairy Queen Brazier sub-chain, which served not only dairy desserts but also standard fast-food fare like hamburgers, friends, and hot dogs.
Dairy Queen's fast-food meals were arguably on par with the major hamburger chains, though DQ, as it now officially called, is best known for its outstanding dairy treats. Their best-selling product is undoubtedly the Blizzard Treat, which is a dessert made of soft-serve ice cream blended with candies, cookies, or sundae toppings. DQ has always offered Blizzard Treats in a variety of blended flavours, giving customers a chance to have a Blizzard made from their favorite sweets. Some favorites include Skor Bar, Oreo, cookie dough, M&Ms or Smarties, Butterfinger, and so on. They even produce holiday and seasonal variations such as Pumpkin Pie Blizzards. The Blizzard Treat was developed from a blended soft-serve dessert called "The Concrete", so named because of its unrivaled thickness. And DQ staff are known to turn Blizzards upside down to prove their thickness.
DQ's prices have always been right, and you'd be hardpressed to find somebody who couldn't afford the occasional DQ treat. But Dairy Queen understands that families have to budget and save money, and DQ coupons are one way that they help you do that. For example, if you join the Blizzard fan club on the DQ website, you are entitled to a free Blizzard treat and up to 6 two for one deals a year. In addition to that you can also find DQ coupons at various online coupon directories, as well as in your local newspaper. These coupons are not as consistently available as the Blizzard Fan Club offers, but they cover a wide range of Dairy Queen products so you should definitely check them out.
