could this altered version (B squad team) of Team Canada compete for a medal? at the Olympics?
I'm making a roster of players who are not likely to make the polished, final roster but rather players who are good Canadian players butnot quite for the "A" squad so to speak.
Setoguchi - Spezza - Stamkos
Horton - Savard - Tavares
Sharp - Zajac - Lucic
Neal - B, Richards - Perry
Bieksa - Regher
Doughty - Blake
Seabrook - Jovanovski
Green (*hint, hint*, knock on wood)
Leclair
Ward
Turco
I personaly think that it could be a top 5 team for sure, given it could find some real chemostry and a huge physical presence with speed to burn.
I find it pretty amazing that Savard or Spezza won't make our A squad though, same with Stamkos, age shouldn't be a factor here if you can flat out play like he can.
Your ignorant you know that right? pezza and Savard would easily, EASILY be America's top 2 centerman, think about that for awhile you ignorant fuck load.
You honestly think all these players won't make the team? I think Ward and Green will for sure. Likely Regehr will as well. He's one of the top defensive d-men in the league. Anyway, assuming you're right, no, I doubt this team could medal at the olympics. Actually, I don't think they would even come close to medalling. There's a lot of good teams. They would be behind Sweden, Russia, Czech Republic, Finland, United States and maybe others but at best, they would finish 6th.
